CHEMO DAY!!

Today, mom has her second chemo treatment.

The next one is on the 6th of March so mark your prayer calendars.

According to mom, there will be six chemo treatments followed by six months of radiation. This may be wrong... I'll clarify with big papa and get back to you...

Today is a good day to call and check in!

Hi Susie: This is my first time on a blog site, so you might say I'm a virgin at this (that's funny).
Good to hear you are plugging along
and doing what you are supposed to do. You sound "right on"...
My monthly blood tests have been back to normal this year, with only
a 50/50 chance of that and lots of fabulous prayer warriors...
I'll continue monthly tests through December of this year, then yearly. I had calcifications on my Mammogram; so it will be each six months. My latent Chicken Pox virus decided to bloom again, so I got Shingles on the left ear. I'd like to say "All is well", but the virus jumped over to my Fifth facial nerve in some tight space in my ear, so now the left side of my face is temporarily paralyzed (for two months)and Group Health has only seen 40 cases of this, but it is a textbook case of Ramsey-Hunt Symdrome, and it always gets better. Clem and I volunteered at Safeco Field selling hotdogs at Booth 141 by third base on the first level to raise money for our Church Mexico Trek group, and it was fun, twice this week. Life is good. Thanks for the updates. Julie Rusk
